		<description>Sadly, I remember how much I hated the "health not horror" houses!  I just can't go that route on Halloween (unless maybe I'm hiding sweet potatoes in cookies).  I do really like the idea of giving treasures instead of treats, though.  My kids like those as much as candy!

We always put the kids' candy out of sight and reach after Halloween.  It's not taken away from them, but they're only allowed candy at certain times of the day.  So much better than letting them nosh on the sugary stuff anytime they want!  Plus, out of sight, out of mind - they quickly forget about their stash and most of the candy goes uneaten!
