frozenmisipi I'm with Stevie--a little exercise and stress management does wonders. I think sometimes we expect to pop a pill and have everything alright. Not that some individuals don't need treatment for sleeplessness, just that I think there are far too many of us out there expecting a fix-it-all pill (kind of like the many diet pills out there).
stevie I used to take 1/4 of a Tylenol PM to help me sleep at night, but then I heard about Melatonin and gave it a shot. I noticed that it was harder for me to get up in the morning when I took it versus the Tylenol PM. I believe the dosage was 5mg, and I'd only take one. I currently don't take anything to sleep; it's a amazing what exercise/less stress can do for a person!
managingeditor I, for one, would love to hear from people who have tried melatonin to help them sleep. Did it work? How much did you take and in what form?

Here's our article on the topic and our interview on sleeping pills, for good measure.

To your health (and good sleep),
