Have you heard of "disease mongering"? It's the idea that drug companies are pretty much creating diseases so they can sell their wares.
As you can imagine, drug companies aren't so keen on the term, though they're not the only ones who disagree with it.
What do you think? Are pharmaceutical companies fooling people into thinking something's wrong with them, or are they instead creating needed awareness about diseases and the fact that treatment's now available?
